so where did we go to?
PENANG!

after all i was born there (oo surprise surprise to those of you who didn't know that) and we stayed at Parkroyal hotel..i loved the hotel. my mom told me that they usually refurbish and redecorate the place every few years so this time round it was newly done and to my delight..it was painted in white with ORANGE accents.
ORANGE!
the most glorious colour ever! hehe..good start..we had a family room and it had a king sized bed and a queen sized bed so it was pretty comfortable at night..usually my brother will sleep on the floor but this time he is lucky >_<

you can be damn sure i had a beautiful nights sleep..
even the bathroom looked cool..
when i came back from my holiday i was telling yoki how nice the rooms were, and that it was painted in orange..
yoki: huh? orange..sure not nice wan
geri: no its really really nice! i want that colour in my room too
yoki: you want to get headache is it? O_o
geri: no lah i show you the pic.. *sends file*
geri: so how? nice or not?
yoki: mm..ok lah..lots of shampoos by the way? :D
geri: i show you a picture of a nice bathroom but you only notice the shampoos.. -_-'
anyways, enough of bedrooms and bathrooms..we came to penang not to look at those two, mind you (lest you think we have nothing better to do) so we headed down to the pool..i was pretty disappointed though, the last time we came here, they had huge landscaped pools wth a few mini jacuzzis..now its all gone! now there are only two pools left, one is the game pool where they had a slide and a volleyball nets and the other was for you to just sit there are soak up the chlorine water (i went inside the pool once, and thereafter sunbathed under a coconut tree)
damn noisy you know,we only managed to find seats which were near the volleyball area and it was irritating cuz every once in a while we had to go pick up the stray ball that flew out of the pool..i mean,if there were really handsome guys playing, heck, i wouldn't mind, but nooooo.....it was a huge family that was occupying the pool..tough..so obviously my brother got real fed up so he decided to pretend he didnt see by putting a towel over his head..smart..real smart *rolls eyes*
as my brother and i were lazing aroundthe pool, we noticed these really big bright banana type thingamajiggys which were actually menus..pretty smart, eh?
but bloody fucking expensive,i tell you..seriously, who would spend so much money on a local delicacy? ooh..*slaps forehead* yup, those mat sallehs hanging around the pool...please, i didnt see any of them eating anything, i dont think they are that stupid either..
damn expensive i tell you..
enough already, got fed up with the outrageous prices so we headed down to the beach...i wanted to go paragliding but my ever so overprotective dad started to tell me horrifying stories
geri: dad, can i go?
dad: you really want to go? you think about it what if there is an accident?break your legs, get brusises all that how? what if you get stuck into a tree or hit the wooden fence?
geri: dont have la, if follow instructions sure will be safe wan *smiles sweetly*
dad: no no no no no
geri: ;(
so i just had to settle with playing with the waves as they come crashing in..even so, my dad still had something to say
dad: be careful of the jellyfish! remember what happened the last time!
geri: -_-'
*note: when i was very young, i was blissfully playing at the beach when suddenly a smack of jellyfish came and attacked me..so i still have the scars, as a constant reminder of how innocent fun at the beach can literally scar you for life

the beach was beautiful really..it just went on forever, and the water was so clear and blue..i was imagining how it would be like if suddenly a tsunami occured again?that would be so cool! *eyes glinting*

went on a boat ride and got to see many things you dont usually see on the beach..we passed by this fisherman, who was a pakcik and he was really really tanned..imeagine, we go on a boat ride for a cruise but he goes on a boat ride everyday to deliver fish..what a total contrast of two different worlds..somehow as i took in the sights of the great big sea all my problems seemed to melt away as its magnitude is nowhere near the magnitude of the sea...

footprints..they disappear just as the tide comes in..how..temporary..

it was a fantastic holiday, can't wait to go back there again :D
