fighting with makciks

told my mom i'll go buy cooking oil since we didn't have an extra bottle in the store, so i popped over to cold storage in ikano after lunch with the siblings.
i thought that it would be easy and fast since al i needed to do was to buy ONE item.
turns out it isn't really so since there was only ONE counter opened.

so ridiculous.
here i was, lining up behind this lady who had loads of stuff in her trolley, and to make things better, the cashier was slow super extremely horrendously slow.
gila.
in fact she was so slow til the customer even had time to leave her trolley at the counter to go look for summore things to throw into it.
O_O
when the woman asked why only one counter is opened, guess what the cashier said?
"rehat-lah. on break"
so stupid, what kind of management is this, only leave one counter open!
geram only. sien.
since there was only one counter opened, another woman with a huge trolley came lining up behind me and at that moment they decided to open up another counter so here i was desperately wanting to pay for one bottle of oil, and i had to just stand there and wait for these two makciks to get their groceries through first.
so geram-ifying la wei

KL IS FULL OF IDIOTIC DRIVERS

congested man.
driving back from class, no joke, you got so many people trying to squeeze into one lane.
i mean, if you can drive a car, means you must've obtained your license through some intellectual means isn't it? i mean, a 4 year old would know that a road that is only meant for one car is not enough to fit 3 cars correct?

best of all are the pedestrians. superb man, already its not really their time to cross the road AND YET they saunter across not caring whether or not there is a long line of cars waiting to go. what? the road belongs to you izit?

grr.

what really pisses me off too is when a person is trying to change lanes, and they do it ever so slowly as if time is something everyone has in abundance. best of all, there is ample space for them to do so, and yet it seems like such a difficult chore to do.

but the most annoying one of the lot?
doing a left signal when u actually end up turning right.

GO BACK TO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL YO!

habits of the odd

shake it..shake it..shake it like a polaroid picture, c'mon shake it..-Outkast

have you ever noticed how there are certain habits that a person can't seem to rid themselves of? i mean, usual habits like biting your fingernails or playing with your pen absent-mindedly are subtle habits which don't quite annoy others as much are still OKAY to say the least..

i remember once when i was in kindergarten there was this boy who constantly had his index finger up his nose. everytime, anywhere, gosh you should have seen him.
it came to one point where we begun to wonder amongst ourselves
"got so much shit up there meh?"
"dig all the time, his nostrils getting bigger i think"

we were not the only one cuz our teacher asked him once
"what are you looking for up there, gold is it?"

and she got so grossed out i suppose till one day i heard her say to the boy
"please don't dig your nose with your finger here"
guess what the boy did?
he used a pencil instead

o_O

O_o

O_O

GROSS MAN SALAH FAIL.

now, besides picking his nose, this boy had two items which he loved very much. his water bottle and his food container.
one day my group of friends (there were four girls and one boy) decided to take both of it away and hide it. cuz you know, we were just so grossed out with his "hobby".
so we took it and we hid it in the rubbish bin ^^
huh, i still can remember how difficult it was to decide who gets to touch the stuff cuz as one of us said
"sure got lots of shit here wan"

when we got back to class i could see the boy running here and there like frantic cockroach trying to look for his stuff. after searching the ENTIRE clasroom (wah, i say as if the classroom is so big liddat, its was small leh, remember we were only 6 back then) i finally could hear his cry of anguish

WHERE IS MY WATER BOTTLE AND MY CONTAINER!!!!!!!!?????

hehe
so evil man
i frankly didn't know how THEY figured out it was us, but needless to say he got his stuff back and boy and nose were reunited once again =.='

similarly there is this guy in my class , who can't stop shaking his legs.
everytime he speaks out in class or gives an opinion to the lecturer his legs sure guarantee will shake.
i think its due to nervousness or something of that nature.
but COME ON!
u shake your legs EVERYTIME you answer a question given to u by the lecturer, if next time you are in front of a judge HOW?

"your honour, it has come to this defence attention ..." while shaking his legs
then the judge will boom in annoyance
"counsel! please stop shaking your legs!"
"yes, your honour" but his legs continue to shake anyways
"you are in contempt of court for annoying the judge! i'm throwing this case out!"

how?
maybe no one told him that its rather annoying, let alone rather obscene looking.
dont guys shake their legs when they are horny eh?

ah.
stop it la please.
you have such a bad habit, maybe cuz no one tells u.

shake that habit off man ><

snap snap snap snap snap

got bitten by the photobug again =.='

have we changed since the last time we took a group photo together? i know that my parting is different and my hair is much longer..kusha has wavy hair now and shaleni has shorter hair that makes her look like a small girl..

do we look like we are 21?

can you imagine that there is a future lawyer in each one of us?

as for now, i can't really imagine it though :D

i remember that we used to say with lots of determination
"in Part One, we will take our studies more seriously..no more last minute assignments.."
"must do extra assignments, don't just depend on the lecturer to give only"
"ok, we shall go read the judgements, don't just read the summarized version"
"sit down study, dont do things last minute"

huh o_O

YEAH RIGHT.

we still do our assignments at the very last minute, a day before its due.

these things can drive a person insane, you know? doing things at the very end is such a bad habit and i know that everytime it happens, i'll be rushing to get it done and all the while muttering to myself "if only i did this earlier, if only i didnt procastinate if only i wasn't so lazy.."

aih, but as long as we get it done, correct or not?

doing extra assignments? haha.. to do one also take so damn long eventhough an essay just requires 45 minutes to do.. like what happened yesterday since we were combined with another class for tutorials, the lecturer gave his class an assignment, something which was not compulsory for MY class to do. so towards the end of class, Vanessa asked me

"eh, what was the assignment, what page was it on?"
"oh, i don't know."
"you not going to do meh?"
"well. as far as i'm concerned, i try not to do assignments :D"
"oh, but i thought you should try to do more assignments"

=.='

reading judgements, no joke eh. my class was given an assignment to print out and read the judgement of Bolitho v City and Hackney health Authority.
crazy.
when i printed out my copy it was FIFTEEN pages long.
and that, is considered a short judgement.
i'll only read judgements if neccessary =.='

so damn unambitious man.

from one end to the other

everyone knows how bad the roads are at 5.30 in the evening, especially in town.
so in order to avoid being stuck in the infamous jams, joycey and i decided to use the LRT from kelana instead to get to our 1.00 class (cuz class finishes at 5.30).

the usual 20 minutes journey went by really fast and as we approached the pasar seni station, we quickly rushed to college to get something to eat. damn hungry la weih.

near our college, there were a couple of people shooting a show there, so joycey was busy admiring this particular actor when suddenly, one of the crew members came up to our table and told us

"you better be careful. there is someone standing over there and he has been looking towards your direction ever since you sat down. take your time to eat, and when you have finished eating, just stay here, and wait for him to go away."

since she spoke in cantonese, i didnt have a clue as to what she said until joycey told me.

i turned around to see who that person was, i couldn't see him as there were lots of people nearby.

joycey : geri. i saw him at the kelana station. and i saw him walking behind us as we arrived in pasar seni station. he is standing there behind the wall...

i turned around and took a good look, and i felt so damn scared my hands started to shiver and shake uncontrollably

he was of medium height, a chinese. he was wearing a pinkish-beige coloured button down shirt which was untucked, and he had a pair of light pants on also with a bag slung across his body.
he was standing behind the wall and i could only see half his face staring intently towards our direction. he didnt look like the kind of guy who would stalk a person in fact, if u had seen him on the road, he looks like a very quiet studious person.

you know, the quiet kind that no one really knows what exactly is going on in their mind?

that type.

do you know how it feels like? to know that he followed us all the way from one end of town to the other?
and yet there he was, just staring at us behind the wall when there are so many people around.

i think a lot of the guys who were in that area started to notice what was happening and so they started to crowd around him. one guy kicked him and told him to go away. and as he was being shooed away, he walked past our table and i felt fear, afraid of what he might do to us.

but thank God he just walked past and we never saw him after that.

the lady who warned us earlier about him came over to our table once again and said

"you eat slowly and stay here awhile, just because he is not here, doesn't mean he is gone. so please be careful"

i think that has got to be one of the most frightening experiences in my life.

you think you had a good day

there are certain things in a day that can make a person very happy.

a smile from a cute collegemate.

a GOOD assignment grade.

7 fishballs in your soup when you usually get 5.

the rain stops just as class finishes.

CLEAR traffic on an infamous congested road.

leaving the house LATE but arriving at college in 15 minutes time when it usually takes 25.

getting a seat thats right smack in the middle of the class.

wearing a skirt and not feeling cold when it usually happens.

receiving a msg from a person you want to talk to VERY much.
